Mani Verma is one of the founders of Micon International Ltd.. He has over 35 year’s experience as a mining engineer, working with both mining companies and major consulting firms. Mr. Verma is a Professional Engineer in Canada (Ontario).
Mr. Verma’s career includes positions with AMT International/AMT (USA) Inc., Dames & Moore, Asbestos Corporation, and the National Coal Board in the UK, as well as with Micon’s predecessor company, David S. Robertson & Associates Limited. He has experience in mine production, engineering, budget preparation, project evaluation for the purpose of financing or merger/acquisition, strategic planning, feasibility studies and project management. He qualifies as a Qualified Person in Canada, and as a Competent Person in other jurisdictions, for technical reporting under securities regulations.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors of AMT International/AMT (USA) Inc., Mr. Verma managed the earn-in from a joint venture and subsequent acquisition of an advanced stage copper/molybdenum/gold property in Arizona, USA. The earn-in conditions required the expenditure on exploration and the preparation of a feasibility study.
Mr. Verma’s consulting experience includes technical and economic project evaluation, project construction monitoring on behalf of lenders, equipment selection and feasibility studies. He has completed assignments in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia on behalf of mining companies, financial institutions, legal firms and government agencies.
